Look over to the left and click on the link The Blakley's. Erica has posted about a little girl that goes to Clayton's daycare. She and her family could use many prayers asking God to heal their little girl.

With the sale of our house quickly approaching, I am starting to get sad. These are the things I will miss the most about our house.
I will miss our shady backyard that the kids love to run around in.
I will miss our crepe myrtle tree. This is the biggest crepe myrtle tree I have ever seen. It blooms pretty hot pink blossoms twice a year.
I will miss this beautiful hydrangia bush. This plant was given to Robert's grandmother when his grandfather passed away. It has survived many freezes and droughts, and still blooms the biggest prettiest blossoms.
I will miss this holly tree. In the fall it is full of red berries. This has always been my mom's favorite.
But what I will miss the most are the memories. The memories of fixing the house up before we got married. The back breaking labor of refinishing the hardwood floors. The vivid memory of bringing Britton home from the hospital and having a little melt down because I felt so overwhelmed. The vivid memory of bringing Clayton home from the hospital last year and wondering what the heck I was thinking!! Robert is having a hard time too. This is where his grandparents lived, and where he spent many days helping his grandma cook breakfast and lunch. He has such sweet memories of his grandparents here. This house has such neat character, and it is bittersweet for us to sell it.
But, this is what we have to look forward to!
This will be our new house, and our new yard!

Mothers Day was great! Saturday night James, Laura, Jim, Robert and I took Norma out to eat at Fish Daddy's in College Station. Food was great and we had a great time visiting. Sunday morning we loaded up and went down to Laura's for some Mothers Day lunch. Great spaghetti, salad, garlic bread, and a yummy cookie cake for dessert. The kids loved playing with each other. Below are some pictures that were taken at Laura's house. This is my favorite picture... All moms! My grandmother, me, mom, and Laura
My Dad with Taylor, Megan, Clayton and Ula the cat. It was nothing short of a circus with all of the kids running through the house screaming and playing.
Mom, Laura, Clayton and I. I am not sure what Clayton was doing in this picture!

Clayton's surgery went very smoothly today. We arrived in downtown Houston around 9:15 this morning. They immediately started all of his pre-op stuff. The doctor was a little late starting, and Clayton was number two in line for surgery. They finally took him back about 11:15... poor baby hadn't had anything to eat or drink since the night before! After about thirty minutes, they called us back to recovery. He was crying as he was coming out from the anesthesia. He sucked down two cups of juice, we signed papers and were on the road home by 12:30. He slept all the way to Huntsville where I got his pain medication filled.
The hernia that could be felt was on his left side, but the doctor said he was going to check the right side just in case. And, good thing he did because he had a hernia over there too. So, poor CJ had a double hernia! I could tell he was very sore this evening, and he would just lay in my lap with his blanket and suck his fingers. Once Britt got home, Clayton's eyes lit up and he started laughing. He got up to play for just a little bit, but then he got tired again. I am so glad this is over! I have been dreading it for months. Thanks to everyone who kept us in their prayers!
